BAPTISM
The
Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on Sundays either at one
of the liturgies or at 1:00 p.m. There are no
baptisms celebrated at 1 p.m. on the third Sunday of the
month. A period of preparation is required before your child's
baptism is celebrated. Please call the parish office to make
arrangements to attend a preparation session when planning for
your child's baptism. Following your preparation you may choose
a date for the actual celebration of the Sacrament.

PENANCE
Preparation for the Sacrament of Penance leads the
child to a deeper understanding some basic concepts of forgiveness.
The positive thrust of the sacrament is on the positive fact
of forgiveness through Jesus. Ongoing formation in an understanding
of the Sacrament of Penance continues throughout the religious
education program.
EUCHARIST
The mystery of the Eucharist is where our entire life finds
its purpose, meaning and unity. The child is led to experience
this truth in the program of preparation. Through a family centered
program the children are invited to come to the life-giving
gathering of the parish community where people come to give
thanks for all of God's gifts and to learn how to share in love.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation is administered
in the fall of junior year of high school. There is a two-year
period of preparation. Our candidates in high school meet on
the 1st Sunday or 2nd Sunday of the month depending upon what
year they are currently in the program. They meet to
pray with the community at the 12 p.m. Sunday liturgy and continue
afterwards with lunch and class session to 2:30 p.m.
Please call Peter Cammarata our Youth Minster at 973-283-1212 or 973-838-0567 for information.
MARRIAGE
Couples wishing to enter the Sacrament of Marriage should consult
with the priest at least one year prior to their wedding. The
parish holds Pre-Cana sessions twice a year as a formal preparation
program prior to marriage.
Call the rectory to book the church or chapel and to make an
appointment with one of the priests.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick brings a sick person
the comfort and peace of Jesus. We celebrate this Sacrament
in Church during the year for those who are able to attend.
If anyone is sick at home or in the hospital please notify the
parish house and we will be happy to celebrate this Sacrament
with them and arrange for pastoral visits by our priests or
Eucharistic Ministers.
