YOUNG PEOPLE’S CHOIR If you attend the 9:00 Mass, you have noticed that our Young People’s Choir is growing. These children have done a wonderful job leading the singing at the 9:00 Mass each week this fall, and continue to improve as each week passes. Many of these children are brave enough to sing solo verses or cantor the responsorial psalm. Although we are very proud of them, we are trying to fill the seats in the music ministry area. If your child is enrolled in grades 4-8 of our parish school or religious education program, they are eligible to participate in the Young People’s Choir. The Young People’s Choir rehearses each Tuesday afternoon from 4:30-5:30. They sing regularly at the 9:00 Mass on Sunday mornings. Although being in a church choir is a serious commitment of time and energy, it is an important and valid ministry which children fill so beautifully. If your child is a singer, and would like to participate, please approach Mr. Pierce after Mass, or contact him by phone at 973-283-9062.
